Mainstream's MediasBrowser web platform provides your customers fast, flexible and inexpensive access to your multmedia content. Use MediasBrowser to deliver your video, photos, graphics, text and audio files to your customers in near real-time. The MediasBrowser platform includes an automatic video transcoding engine that converts your high-resolution video content to the formats your clients need now - including web-ready and mobile media formats. MediasBrowser also transforms plain text feeds to web ready formats like XML, NewsML, and HTML.

Mainstream's Medias xCode Engine automatically transcodes your high-resolution video files to the video formats your end-users need. From high-resolution SD video or HD video content to Flash, AVI, MOV, 3GP, MPG, and any other video formats in a matter of minutes. Use the xCode Engine in conjunction with one of our delivery platforms like MediasBrowser or MediasFTP for direct delivery to your end-users, or have us deliver the video package to your content delivery network of choice.

The Mainstream Medias Server network is our client-side multimedia platform that even the least tech-savvy users can operate with ease. We install a Medias Server at the client site, and then push multimedia content to the server over the Internet, satellite, or both. The server includes an automatic failover mechanism between satellite and Internet to ensure reliable delivery. Medias Servers then allow your customers to integrate your content into their own workflow systems in a variety of ways including serial inputs, automatic FTP, HTTP (website) and file share. Mainstream currently has more than 500 Medias Servers installed at the most important media companies around the world.

One of Mainstream's most popular products is its managed FTP system called MediasFTP. MediasFTP is used by entertainment video and photo agencies, international news agencies, and other information companies to distribute their photos, video and text files to their agents, partners and customers around the world at incredible speeds. MediasFTP is integrated with our HAL monitoring system that provides you with remote access to real-time delivery statistics for all of your end-user sites.

MediasUpload helps you collect content from your network of remote photographers, videographers and journalists scattered around the world. Remote contributors create content in the field and then use the MediasUpload application to upload that content to a central area for processing and immediate delivery. Not only does MediasUpload provide an easy interface for users and administrators to organize incoming content, it facilitates the capture of consistent metadata, which is becoming more and more important with the ever increasing deluge of content in the marketplace.
