When you’re thinking about going with a Digital Asset Management solution, there are a lot of things to think about. Are you going to go with an out-of-the-box solution? Can you build one internally? How customized does it need to be? Who will have access to what content?

The list really could go on and on, especially if you sit down and start to really think about it. After talking with our clients and researching some of the options out there, we came up with a list of 5 things to think about when you’re considering a DAM solution or even a specific DAM platform. This list is helpful in allowing you to decide what kind of specific platform will work best for your organization.

But outside of choosing a platform, we think there are other things you need to think about. One of those is keywording. We did a blog post on tips for keywording content a couple months ago, and we decided to explore a little further how a company could set up an effective keywording system to help them get more value out of their content by making it findable on any platform. We put together an eBook with interviews from some of our partners at Newscom – people who make a living out of making their content findable in large archives.

We put their advice together into 9 simple tips to help you and your organization set up an effective keywording system that will help you keep your content findable and valuable.

Check out the eBook right now. Even if you have a keywording system set up, it still has fun pictures you’ll want to look at. And you will probably find at least one helpful tip in there. If you don’t have a keywording system set up, you’ll find 9 really helpful tips AND fun pictures.
